


















When Coach wanted to revive their retail space to be as eye-catching and fashion forward as their luxury accessories, the design build integrator of choice was McCann Systems. Coach, long regarded as a leading American design house, enlisted the services of McCann Systems to create and install an innovative concept to showcase the season’s collection at their SoHo store. To maintain the classic and effortless style that has defined Coach for decades but integrate a digital and ultramodern factor to their showcase, McCann Systems designed and installed a 3×3 video wall for the upscale boutique using Christie Digital 55” LCD displays.
These ultra-narrow bezel, high definition LED-backlit displays were the perfect solution for this high profile location. With their wide viewing angle and superior brightness, these Christie Digital displays look great from anywhere in the store as well as from Prince Street, known for sophisticated retail and stylish clientele.
In lieu of traditional mounting solutions, McCann Systems designed the video wall to be cleverly recessed into the store’s structure via a precise niche in one of the boutique’s focal
walls. While creating a clean and streamlined installation to compliment the sleek environment of this high-end store, the design does not neglect the importance of accessibility. The displays are individually mounted within the alcove and are easily detached and removed for serviceability. By allowing for easy separation of the video wall components, down-time is significantly reduced compared to typical video wall mounting methods.
Custom Coach-created content is fed to the displays by an Adtec digital media player, which can automatically scale the content to match the output resolution up to 1080i. This allows for limitless possibilities when creating each season’s collection showcase, without the hassles of file conversion. A new show can be created and uploaded almost immediately.
This 3×3 video wall enhances the space by integrating technology with high fashion; adding a dynamic digital signage element to the swanky Coach boutique. The video wall engages customers and window shoppers alike with custom created content specific for that location and season, while also emphasizing the ease of function and service for the client.
