The Madison Square Garden Presentation Center is being used to showcase the newly renovated suites available at the Garden. Here, prospective clients get a firsthand look at the accommodations available to them. The Presentation Center experience begins when you enter the lobby of this dynamic space. McCann Systems integrated the immersive audio visual environment, working with TPG Architecture and Hornall Anderson, the content providers.
Step inside and you are surrounded by three high definition flat-panel Panasonic plasmas displaying MSG memorabilia and captivating audio. In the center of this circular lobby is an interactive keyport pedestal, the top of which is illuminated. Each group of prospective clients is given a key made of acrylic which looks like the exterior of the Garden. Once the key is placed onto the keyport the space is then activated. The lights dim and the accompanying audio visual elements start the show. The impressive history of MSG begins to slideshow across all of the screens. History, highlights and experiences from the garden past immerse the viewer in a kind of shock and awe as they watch these major events that took place here.
Move up a level and you enter the model room with interior walls themed after the iconic garden exterior the model room contains two recessed flat panels to guide the user through the experience. In the center of this space is a scaled model of the garden with an illuminated keyport built into the center model table, opposite that is a 12” Elo Touch panel. Once the space is activated the touch panel gives the perspective client the ability to cue up clips giving them a visual of what the renovation will be like including restaurants, retail space and seating views. Different areas of the model illuminate to correspond with images on the plasmas displays.
Once you enter the lounge, you are greeted by a 58” flat-panel plasma which appears to be part of the glass wall. Once the key is positioned on to the keyport, a montage clip is shown on the large display with corresponding audio.
The lounge flows into three separate areas, the main level suite, the mid level suite and the conference rooms. The mid level suite has two flat-panel plasmas that cover the seating and dining areas, flowing right into the arena seating where we installed a Christie DS+10K projector designed to give you a panoramic view of the new arena. This allows potential buyers to easily visualize how events will look from any suite location. McCann Systems installed surround sound systems in each suite allowing for a true arena feeling that completes the virtual immersive experience. The main level suite is similar but more grandiose, with larger displays in the seating and dining areas, and a larger panoramic view of the arena. In the main level suites you will find two Christie HD10K-M Projectors that have been blended together to give a panoramic view providing a full audio visual experience. The conference rooms have flat panel plasmas with laptop connectivity as well as the ability to view all of the MSG channels.
