Job Description:

McCann Systems is seeking an experienced CAD Designer/Draftsperson to join our growing national team. In this role, you will support projects across all McCann locations while working remotely from home. While this is a fully remote position, candidates located near one of our regional offices—Edison, NJ; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; St. Louis, MO; or Hartford, CT—are preferred.

The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience working in Revit, including BIM 360 and BIM coordination. Previous experience in audiovisual systems (system integration, live production, or theater environments) is a plus; however, we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate exceptional Revit proficiency.

Candidates must be proficient in working with architectural drawings, possess strong computer and technical skills, and bring a positive, team-oriented attitude to their work.

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD software including BIM 360 and BIM coordination
  • Previous experience working with AV systems
  • Knowledge of Architectural and Electrical drawing standards
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Transform rough designs into working AV facility, Electrical, System Diagrams, and Detail plans
  • Review all AV drawings and designs to ensure adherence to company and industry standards
  • Reliable, well-organized, and detail-oriented
  • Capable of learning and acquiring new skills while working independently or with a team
