Las Vegas, NEVADA (June 13, 2016) – McCann Systems has done it again! The global integrator celebrates two of the industry’s prestigious Commercial Integrator Integration Awards, presented at InfoComm, the largest professional audiovisual trade show in North America.
The 2016 Integration Awards recognize top commercial integrators who successfully address client needs with innovative and noteworthy installations. This year, two of those awards went to McCann Systems.
The Best Healthcare Project was earned for the “Mercy Virtual Care Center,” the world’s first free-standing facility for telemedicine, located in St. Louis, Missouri, while the CI Best Casino Project was awarded to “The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’s Race and Sports Book powered by CG Technology.”
Both award-winning projects were designed by Ken Newbury, senior vice president of operations, and managed locally by his teams. “It is always fun when you get to be involved in the design of such creative and inspired projects. These are the times that you get to stretch beyond the day-to-day audiovisual concepts and really invent something head-turning. I was honored to have great team members – both internal and external – on both of these projects who shared the same level of desire to produce something completely unique.”
With these distinctions, McCann Systems continues a steady stream of industry recognition. In 2015, McCann Systems earned a Bronze APEX Award as well as the inaugural “Outside of the Box” Award. Earlier this year, McCann Systems was awarded the 2016 Gold APEX Installation Award for the impressive digital signage initiatives at Viacom, New York City.
