McCann was trusted to outfit KCI Construction’s new office with multiple conferencing and collaboration spaces, a large training room, and building-wide digital signage, including displays in the cafeteria and fitness center.
The conference and collaboration spaces range from a large executive conference room featuring a 21:9, 105” Jupiter video display with dual Crestron auto-tracking PTZ cameras. Participants can hear and be clearly heard thanks to the Crestron ceiling speakers and Shure puck-style tabletop microphones. McCann specifically designed to meet the highest standards of Teams certification. To enhance speech privacy and reduce ambient distractions, McCann installed a sound masking system throughout key areas. This helps ensure confidentiality during sensitive meetings while improving overall acoustic comfort.
Medium conference rooms utilize Jupiter 21:9, 81” displays with Logitech Rally Bars and touch panels to set up and control Teams meetings. Small huddle spaces feature BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) connectivity for effortless collaboration between remote and in-room participants.
The large training room includes a 137” 16×9 1.6mm LED display for presentations and training sessions. A Crestron PTZ camera on the front wall captures in-room participants, while a ceiling-mounted camera focuses on the presenter. Audio is captured using Shure ceiling microphones and played back through 6” Crestron pendant ceiling speakers, ensuring clear sound throughout the space.
All rooms are managed through Logitech Room Schedulers, allowing staff to easily reserve the appropriate space for their collaboration needs.
In addition to the conferencing environments, McCann installed digital signage displays throughout the building, including in the cafeteria and employee fitness center. Content is managed from a central CMS (Content Management System), enabling complete control of all displays from a single workstation.
McCann’s system design and integration enhance KCI Construction’s ability to collaborate, present, and connect across teams and departments. The result is a streamlined, modern workplace environment built to support both in-person and hybrid work.
