Position Summary
ThThis position will be focused on Crestron control for commercial projects. The preferred candidate will have a technical background in the audiovisual industry, strong leadership and customer interaction skills. Candidates must have the ability to trouble-shoot complex audio, video, and control system problems and have familiarity with major brands of audiovisual systems and components. Related experience in residential AV programming, or UI development will be considered. The successful candidate must be a hard working team player, computer proficient, have a valid drivers’ license and maintain a clean driving record. Candidates must be open to occasional travel and overtime as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Control system programming (Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron)
- User Interface design
- On-site and remote commissioning of AV control systems
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a position with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Crestron Masters Certified Programmer
- Minimum 3 years of experience with control system programming
- Industry certifications such as CTS, Q-SYS, or Extron programming are preferred
- Knowledge of Audio DSP devices & programming
- Understanding of IP Networks
- Motivated and works well on their own or with others
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read and understand wiring drawings
- Individual must be detail and process oriented

Annual salary range is $80,000-$110,000 based on experience. McCann Systems offers a comprehensive benefits package, including family health benefits, matching retirement contributions, paid time off, and more.
