At The Bedford by Martha Stewart, located within Foxwoods Resort Casino, McCann Systems delivered a refined audiovisual solution designed to complement the restaurant’s elevated dining experience while enhancing operational flexibility and visual impact.
As Martha Stewart’s second restaurant, and her first on the East Coast, the project brought her signature style and approach to hospitality. Inspired by her 1925 home in Bedford, New York, the space was designed as a one-of-a-kind dining destination that blends timeless elegance with modern innovation.
McCann transitioned the display layout to twelve 65-inch displays arranged in 3-by-2 portrait configurations, creating a more modern, visually striking presentation that integrates perfectly with the restaurant’s interior design.
These displays are thoughtfully positioned to function as dynamic “digital windows,” allowing the environment to transform in real time. From seasonal landscapes to custom-designed backdrops, the system enables the restaurant to effortlessly shift its ambiance, bringing the outside in while reinforcing the immersive, ever-evolving dining experience.
To streamline system performance and reduce hardware complexity, the LED wall is run off a standalone BrightSign player. Content delivery is now managed through an integrated video processing platform, which serves as the centralized source for all displays. This enhancement enables more efficient content management, improved synchronization, and greater flexibility in how visuals are presented throughout space.
The AV network control system was also updated to support the new video processing platform and display layout. These enhancements provide intuitive systems management, allowing end users to adjust content and settings through a user-friendly interface.
Through thoughtful design and advanced AV integration, McCann Systems successfully elevated the visual experience at The Bedford. The result is a sophisticated, technology-driven environment that reflects Martha Stewart’s signature style, blending elegance, functionality, and innovation within one of the Northeast’s premier resort destinations.
