McCann Systems, a well-established commercial audiovisual design-build firm, is seeking a motivated and driven Field Service Engineer to join our team.

Job Requirements:

  • Providing service focused client interaction
  • Visiting client sites daily
  • Providing remote assistance to remote technicians
  • Self-staring and follow-up attitude
  • Knowledge of AV systems integration, included but not limited to;
    • Distributed audio and video signal routing
    • AV control system troubleshooting (not programming)
    • Zoom and Teams Rooms
    • DVLED
  • Proficient reading AV Drawings
  • Capable in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of learning and acquiring new skills
  • Reliable, well organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work off hours when needed (flexible schedule)
  • Commercial experience with audiovisual equipment, products, and systems is required
  • Provide technical expertise involved in the integration and operation of AV equipment
  • Troubleshooting, configuration, integration and test of video conferencing, audio visual equipment (video conferencing, multimedia, audiovisual, projection systems, displays, cameras, microphone, fiber equipment, and IP networks and various Audio DSPs
  • Experience in projector blending, twist and multi-projector configuration a plus
  • Ability to use lifts and ladders, lift at least 50lbs, and use a variety of power/hand tools and test equipment.

Certifications that are a big plus:
Crestron, Biamp, Cisco, Polycom, Zoom/Teams Room certified, or other relevant certifications, AVIXA CTS, CTS-I/D We are happy to help you get these!

Software:
Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Cisco, Team Viewer, Evertz, Polycom, Videowall Controllers, MS Teams, Zoom, Excel, Word, Outlook, and ticketing software.
