McCann partnered with a premier financial services institution to elevate their Executive Briefing Center, a state-of-the-art corporate space designed for high-profile meetings, strategic planning, and leadership discussions. The project encompassed a signature executive boardroom, an advanced executive dining space (EDS) with full AV capabilities, and the “Bonfire,” a display-centric meeting space designed for immersive collaboration. Through innovative AV integration, McCann Systems delivered a future-proof solution that enhances communication, collaboration, and executive decision-making at the highest level.
The Bonfire meeting space serves as a visually dynamic and highly interactive environment where executives can engage in tactical discussions. At its core, the Bonfire AV system features a custom-built, four-sided display cabinet, where eight 65″ Planar displays are installed in the round, providing 360-degree visibility. Each side of the structure houses two displays, creating an engaging and immersive meeting experience for all participants seated at the surrounding conference tables.
To support high-quality video conferencing, McCann installed four Cisco Quad Cameras mounted on a motorized lift system, ensuring optimal visibility for remote participants. These cameras, connected to Cisco Room Kit systems, enable easy video collaboration across the organization. A Cisco Room Kit Pro acts as the master codec, ensuring superior performance in virtual meetings.
For content sharing, a Barco ClickShare system and HDMI cable connections provide an effortless presentation and BOYD capabilities, allowing executives to share and interact with content in real time. The audio system is equally sophisticated, incorporating 16 Shure gooseneck microphones installed directly into the conference tables, ensuring crystal-clear voice transmission. To enhance sound quality, hidden corner loudspeakers, and a strategic mix-minus voice lift system were integrated to optimize audio distribution. A Cisco Navigator control panel was placed at the conference table, allowing for easy system adjustments and intuitive meeting control.
The Executive Boardroom is a high-performance collaboration hub optimized for both in-person and remote participants. McCann upgraded the space with three ultra-high-resolution Planar LED video walls, ensuring unparalleled display quality. Two 147.2-inch diagonal LED video walls were installed along the side walls, while a massive 196.2-inch LED display adorns the front wall, providing a commanding visual experience for executive presentations and strategic discussions.
To enhance meeting flexibility, two mobile 75″ displays on carts can be introduced, acting as delay monitors for better viewing across the room. McCann implemented a Crestron NVX-based AV-over-IP system, seamlessly connecting all video sources and ensuring robust content distribution. A BlackMagic ATEM Constellation video switcher enables professional-grade video mixing, supporting multiple HDMI and SDI sources. A TVOne CorioMaster video processor was added to manage multi-window configurations, giving executives full control over their content displays.
The boardroom’s video conferencing system integrates one Cisco Room Kit Pro and four Cisco Room Kit EQ codecs, paired with four Cisco Quad Cameras and three Panasonic 4K PTZ cameras. This configuration enables advanced camera tracking and preset shot functionality, ensuring meeting participants are visible from any location. Two of the cameras were mounted on motorized lifts and discreetly recessed into fabric walls, with custom remote-controlled lens shutters for added security and aesthetics.
The audio system was tailored for executive-level clarity, utilizing Sennheiser TCC2 ceiling microphones, Clock Audio table microphones, QSC in-ceiling speakers, and Shure wireless microphones. The existing QSC Core110 DSP backbone was upgraded to a redundant QSC Core 510 system, ensuring reliability and future scalability.
To support high-profile executive meetings, McCann designed a dedicated production control room. This allowed technical staff to oversee and manage the AV system with precision. The room was equipped with dual 55″ Planar displays connected to a multi-view production switcher, enabling real-time monitoring of all video feeds.
The production team has full control over AV routing, with Crestron NVX decoders for HDMI inputs at the boardroom table and a QSC tabletop touchscreen for advanced source management. A tech laptop station provides comprehensive diagnostics and remote system manage
