Nasdaq relocated its global headquarters to 4 Times Square in New York City, the former Condé Nast building, and McCann Systems was behind the Audiovisual and technology integration for the 145,000 sqft project. The brand-new 10th floor includes an outdoor terrace, complete with a smart audio system built into bollard-like speakers. The 2,100 square feet terrace is built above the world-famous Nasdaq Tower and overlooks iconic Times Square.
The Nasdaq 10th floor has the ability to host 400+ people for corporate parties and meetings as a state-of-the-art event space. In addition to the main lobby and event space, McCann Systems installed many different rooms and space to accommodate a flexible working and industry hosting environment. Boardrooms, large conference rooms, smaller huddle rooms, offices, green rooms, the CEO office, private meeting booths, open working space, the bar and café, the terrace, and of course the control rooms and racks were all designed, built, and managed by McCann.
The AV Head End equipment was supplied by Crestron and Biamp, and McCann Systems built the 20+ room Nasdaq 10th Floor at 4 Times Square using over 20 manufacturers of AV, control, software, and hardware equipment. There are many signature features to the unique space, frequented by leaders in global capital markets, including Boardroom 1008, which sports a Planar High-performance 98” UHD LCD Display. Displayed in the main Assembly space is an ingenious column-wrapping made with Unilumin 1.5mm LED, with user-controllable displays and audio lining large architectural features and windows overlooking Times Square.
