Bettors and casino patrons can now find live action at The Book at Harrah’s Philadelphia, the new sportsbook designed and built by McCann Systems. The Book was originally a 4,300 square foot concert venue, which presented the perfect architectural canvas for McCann Systems to introduce a head-turning installation.
The main feature of The Book at Harrah’s Philly is the bar video wall. Twenty 85” UHD Displays (Samsung) interlock to provide a video wall over 31 feet wide. Flanked on both sides by additional 55” displays (Samsung) that constantly refresh betting odds, the bar video wall is surrounded by finishes so sleek it could become your local watering hole. Opening in time for Super Bowl LIII, The Book has seen its fair share of locals doing just that–and has become a destination for people traveling to the Philadelphia area.
The video wall is supported by a custom wall with AV mounts provided by Chief. Middle Atlantic provided the assemblies for the rack room. Directly adjacent to the bar is the betting desk, another impressive AV installation by McCann. It features nine Samsung 65” displays arranged into a wall that is over 100” tall and almost 15 feet long. Harrah’s has the ability to show different channels, odds, and live sports on any or all of the displays throughout the sportsbook.
McCann Systems has shown again why it is the industry leader with the completion of The Book at Harrah’s Philadelphia. Ready to learn how we can incorporate live sports betting into your establishment? Contact McCann Systems today for a free consultation.
