The original sportsbook at Ocean Casino Resort, built by McCann in 2018, recently underwent an architectural overhaul, including some AV upgrades. The original bar moved to the book’s heart, so the ticker above it was carefully disassembled and reinstalled in a more prominent location. Additional 85″ displays were added to the west wall, and 65″ displays crown a new kiosk betting area.
A 17-foot open-air staircase connects to Balcony Bar, a mezzanine bar and lounge where guests can enjoy the ultimate VIP sportsbook experience. In addition, McCann and Ocean took the opportunity to upgrade the head end with streaming PCs for future growth. New video processing, routing, and distribution hardware were installed, helping to expand the input and output capacity. The book has since reopened to rave reviews.
